Intern Spotlight: Vanshika Sinha
Vanshika Sinha is a Medical Intern at Athens Wellness Clinic who has been involved with the Clinic for two semesters, contributing her time, care, and enthusiasm to patient-centered work.
Currently an undergraduate student on the Pre-PA pathway, Vanshika plans to graduate in Spring 2026 and hopes to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. She first learned about Athens Wellness Clinic while searching for healthcare opportunities and ways to get involved in community health, and was drawn to the meaningful work the Clinic does for its patients.
Vanshika was inspired to get involved by AWC’s mission to provide accessible healthcare to underserved populations. As someone interested in healthcare, she wanted hands-on experience serving the community while learning more about what patient-centered care truly looks like in practice.
In her role at the Clinic, Vanshika assists with patient intake and other clinic operations, helping ensure patients feel supported and respected throughout their visits. What she loves most about volunteering at AWC is the opportunity to interact directly with patients and help create a welcoming environment for each person who walks through the door. She also values working alongside a team of volunteers and providers who are genuinely passionate about serving the community, giving the experience a strong sense of purpose.
Outside of school and the Clinic, Vanshika enjoys staying active, going on hikes, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog.
We’re grateful for Vanshika’s dedication to compassionate care and are excited to see where her journey in healthcare takes her next!
